Monochrome hearts and obsidian shadows rage around us 
The traditional dance of kindred souls...
Reproachful, disapproving eyes 
Burn as black as the feelings that are reflected in their minds 
Why is what we have so wrong? 
As different as black and white are we, 
Yet so much the same in the exact sense 
What they can not understand turns them against us… 
And so we are isolated with our colored feelings 
While all the world around us sees everything in shades of black and white 
Still we love with all our souls… 
...In the end, that’s all that matters…
